Recently Kozatskyi tug has undergone sea trials and demonstrated high functional qualities. And at the end of last week, Pereiaslavskyi tug started to undergo sea trials.
This stage was preceded by the adjustment work on the propulsion unit. The specialists tested main engines and auxiliary diesel generators with service systems and gears. They also tested hydraulic system to lift the pilot house as well as illumination systems, sanitary water and air conditioning systems.
The shipbuilders tested operating capacity of the tug. In particular, they inspected operation of main engines and propellers in different speed modes, expanding capacities. The specialists checked towing capacity by means of a dynamometer. They tested automation systems, equipment and gears in real-time mode.
On June 19 the shipyard’s specialists started sea trials of Kremenchutskyi tug – the third vessel (121 project) constructed at NIBULON shipbuilding and repair yard and developed by Sudocomposite design office.
The vessels of this project are constructed as part of the program to develop NIBULON’s cargo fleet and intended for cargo transportation along inland waterways (shallow rivers). The program provides for construction of 12 tugs (121 project). Kozatskyi, Pereiaslavskyi and Kremenchutskyi tugs will enable NIBULON to transport 200 thousand tons of grain along the Southern Bug, thereby substituting 5 thousand trucks.
