In Kyiv city there was held an exhibition of social and ecological projects introduced by companies, non-governmental organizations and international donors – CSR Marketplace. The exhibition organizer is the Center “Development of corporate social responsibility”. The event was held with the assistance of UNITER and PACT and with the financial support from USAID.
CSR Marketplace is a unique event that takes place in Ukraine every year and gathers about thousands of visitors. The first CSR Marketplace was organized by CSR Europe in 2005 in Brussels and since 2007 the exhibitions of business social projects have been held annually in 7 countries of Europe.
In Ukraine CSR Marketplace exhibition has been already held for the third time. The event is directed to mending of partnership among governmental institutions, business, and non-governmental organizations.
This year 30 organizations have introduced their best projects. Among them are unique social and ecological projects implemented by NIBULON within the investment programs to revive the Dnipro and the Southern Bug Rivers as transport waterways of Ukraine. The company cooperates fully with the local communities and implements its large infrastructure projects in the regions of its presence according to the following directions:
– providing with the appropriate conditions to get basic education;
– improvement of  the medical service level;
– infrastructure reorganization of the Ukrainian village;
– protection and preservation of the environment;
– introduction of the energy saving modern technologies;
– equal opportunities and  the best working conditions.
Every visitor had an opportunity to familiarize himself with the results of implementation of NIBULON’s social projects. (Social report).
Thus, for the last year NIBULON has presented computerized multimedia and language laboratories to three Mykolayiv schools, has repaired the infant department of Mykolayiv city children’s hospital No2 and equipped it with modern medical equipment, furniture and household appliances. The company has given new medical equipment to Mykolayiv emergency hospital and Mykolayiv regional hospital. NIBULON initiated fish stocking of Kakhovka Reservoir and the Dnipro River in the area of Kakhovka hydroelectric plant, there was also planted a park in Shostakovo village (Mykolayiv region).
The citizens of Chyrs’ke village (Pereyaslav-Khmel’nyts’kyy district, Kyiv region) and Kozats’ke town (Beryslav district, Kherson region), where NIBULON constructed its two transshipment terminals, could feel positive changes: new equipment for the hospital, emergency cars, repair and lighting of roads, repair and equipment of schools and a kindergarten, etc.
Totally, every year NIBULON directs tens of millions of UAH to different socially important projects and that is 10% of NIBULON’s wage fund. “NIBULON” not only invests considerable costs in the infrastructure development of different regions but also the company is an initiator of new approaches how to spend these resources. The company creates trust relations between the society and business and also calls on Ukraine’s business representatives not to be indifferent to the community.
