Oleksandr Khokhlov, deputy general director of ensuring product quality and storage, familiarized the guests with the terminal’s operation.  The South Korean specialists were particularly interested in the laboratory; they asked a lot of questions concerning technological equipment, principles of cooperation with partners – grain suppliers. They were also interested in technologies to store grain at the unique domes, bringing grain to export conditions.
The specialists familiarized themselves with NIBULON cargo fleet; in particular, St. Mykolai transshipment floating crane impressed them the most. They received detailed information about NIBULON investment program implementation to revive rivers as transport waterways and to improve grain sector logistics.
South Korean business circles display interest in Ukraine’s agrarian sector several years. It is clear, as the Republic of Korea is one of the world’s largest corn importers and enters the top ten leading consumers of Ukrainian corn. Improving cooperation level, Koreans intend not only to import grain from our country but also to invest in Ukraine’s agricultural and industrial complex.
