Sowing has been started; plant protection means have been applied. According to Kostyantyn Khmelnytskyy, deputy general director of production, works are carried out as usual and in compliance with the terms determined.
Thus, at present sowing of spring crops has been performed on the area of 5.9 thousand ha (13%) out of 45.40 thousand ha planned, including corn was planted on the area of 3.12 thousand ha (15 %), sunflower – 2.80 thousand ha (22 %).
At the end of the month there will be started sowing of sorghum and soybean (on the area of 6.3 and 4.7 thousand ha respectively).
Agrarians are fully supplied with seed, mineral fertilizers and plant protection means.
At the same time there have been started works to protect plants. There have been applied soil herbicides on the area of 4.2 thousand ha of cultivated crops; more than 5.0 thousand ha of winter crops have been treated against diseases and weeds. 
The second additional fertilizing of winter crops has been completed. There are being applied mineral fertilizers for spring crops: works have already been performed on the area of about 17.5 thousand ha.
The company’s agrarians conduct cultivation during soil maturity and before planting. Works have been performed on the area of 34.0 thousand ha. Totally, 90.0 thousand ha have been planned.
All set of spring field works, due to well-coordinated work of the company’s grain growers, will be completed in time, till the first decade of May.
