In February NIBULON’s spring field works were started having marked the beginning of a new agricultural season. Traditionally, the southern regions were the first. At present NIBULON’s agrarians are preparing equipment, seed and fertilizers.
This year’s mild and warm winter and also spring that must come according to the calendar period contribute to field works.
At present the company’s agrarians have started to fertilize soil of winter crop area. 25 thousand ha (out of 27 thousand ha) have been fertilized; in particular, in Mykolayiv region – 13 thousand ha (90 % of the planned amount), in Khmelnytskyy, Zhytomyr, Vinnytsya regions – 7 thousand ha (90 %), in Lugansk region – 5 thousand ha. (100 %).
Besides, during warm days (and dry soil) there has been performed prevernal harrowing.
To perform fertilizing, the production department has supplied nitrogen fertilizers (more than 5 thousand tons). The branches receive ammoniac nitrate (in the volume of 4 thousand tons) to be used for sowing late grain crops.
NIBULON’s production department is finishing signing of agreements for supply of ammonium nitrate phosphate fertilizer (complex mineral fertilizers) and seed grain (corn sunflower seed, sorghum); seed of perennial herbs, vegetable crops and plant protection means are being purchased. The batches are delivered to the branches.
At the same time with the beginning of spring field works agricultural machinery fleet is renewed: the production branches receive new sowing machines, devices to cultivate soil, cultivators, spraying machines. Scheduled repair of the existing machinery to be used during sowing of late grain crops is being continued.
After short break the company’s production branches start their usual work pace. We are sure that the new season will bring new victories!
