Complex of spring field works has been started at the production divisions of “NIBULON”.   This year, spring has come with a delay. The occurrence of high snow cover (10-30 cm) in spring has become the main negative factor. Despite the difficult weather conditions, branches of the company are already completing the additional fertilizing of winter crops. 22,5 hectares have been fed up for today, they are 85% of the planned area. This process step has already been carried out in Mykolayiv, Khmelnyts’kyy, Vinnytsya regions, works are being completed in Lugans’k, Cherkasy and Zhytomyr regions.   Sowing of spring barley in Mykolayiv region is completed. This year, planting acreage of this crop has decreased because acreages of soybean, sorghum, sunflower and grain maize have been added. According to Deputy General Director of production K.V. Khmelnytskyy, “Reduction of barley sowing is due to the high cost of the cropper and the inability to predict the final price of the product in the long run period. The company is introducing sorghum as a replacement of barley in areas of risky farming, the cost of sorghum is pegged to the cost for corn and is more predictable. In addition, soybean is considered one of the strategic croppers in the world market.   Fertilizer dressing of these croppers is being made. Acreage of approximately 1500 hectares has been fertilized. The closure of moistness has been completed in Mykolayiv branches of the company. 5000 hectares have been husbanded. This process step has been completed in 5 days. Harrowing of winter wheat that was scheduled is being performed. Works on an area of 2000 hectares have been conducted.   As it was reported in production department of the company, this year the company plans to promote vegeculture for the realization and feeding of staff actively. All branches of the company will be provided with vegetables.   Agricultural machinery engineering and maintenance department of “NIBULON” is ready for the spring field works. Duplicates and tires are already purchased and delivered to the household divisions of the company to prepare tractors and agricultural machines for planting.   A number of company branches is increasing annually. When “NIBULON” comes to the old collective farms, it always strives to upgrade technical staff of farm facilities and to maintain a high class of production technology in the future. This year the company also plans to provide other companies’ needs of preparing the ground, fighting with fieldweeds, forage conservation with new farming machinery.   Giving preference to a particular manufacturer, specialists of “NIBULON” first of all pay attention to its effectiveness. For example, the second consecutive year the company buys spring harrows, which are characterized by high productivity and short idle time during a repair. The company plans to increase the number of agricultural machinery for 8 light tractors to be used in future sowing campaign. Utility vehicle HTZ-2511MK that will be used for shaking-out of bins from the grain trace will be acquired for elevator in “Smotrych” branch.   Spring has come. New troubles have appeared. Prooduction divisions of “NIBULON” are in the usual pace of work. All this takes place simultaneously with the construction of new powerful terminals and vessels. Today “NIBULON” is ready for sowing the new crop. This year’s crop is of particular importance for the company, because it will be transported by new vessels of the company, which will mark the revival of our Dnipro River – Ukrainian shipping waterway.
