St. Mykolai floating crane, coming to Mykolayiv city on July 30, started its operation in the outer roads of Mykolayiv Sea Trade Port carrying out its main task – to load powerful PANAMAX type vessels full.
On August 7 the floating crane was bound for Ochakov town from the transshipment terminal. Its average speed was 7.2 knots.
On August 8 at 3:30 p.m. the floating crane started its operation loading ELPIS vessel full. Works were completed according to the schedule; the floating crane loaded 16 thousand tons of barley (out of 60 thousand tons of the total amount) from 5 non-self-propelled vessels.
On completion the floating crane started to load other PANAMAX type vessel, IDC FALCON motor vessel. On August 13 St. Mykolai completed works having loaded 7.3 thousand tons of wheat.
The floating crane will be in the outer roads of Mykolayiv Sea Trade Port and carry out additional loading of vessels.
