The construction of the fourth tug of POSS-115 series, «NIBULON-4», is gradually entering the homestretch. In accordance with the deadlines, the vessel should have been launched and come out of Mykolayiv shipyard “Okean” dry dock, should have headed to the yard’s berth for completion of construction work, the final installation of equipment and machinery etc. But nature intervened into the work schedules: severe frost, strong winds and as a result – a difficult ice situation on the Southern Bug. Thus, now the vessel remains in the dry dock until weather conditions improve. We will not give reasons for the joy of skeptics and assure you: tug construction work is continued under difficult conditions in the open air, vessel readiness is 70%, and she is ready to moor to the berth as soon as weather conditions allow. Currently insulation work is carried out on the tug. Experts of contractor, Ltd. «ISD», perform thermal and noise insulation; covering of business premises with galvanized sheets and residential premises with decorative panels. Professionals of the other contractor «Alewijnse» also do not lag behind. They perform work on tightening the cable and installation of electrical equipment. In addition, basic equipment is loaded to the vessel fully, its installation is being continued in the engine compartment. Rudder propeller units are mounted, fuel tanks are put into commission.
