There is a photo report about status of St.Mykolai floating crane construction of NB 603 manufacturing order. 
 
At present the Romanian shipbuilders have already completed manufacture of port section No40 and unit No60, they have been cleaned (blasting) and the priming coat was put. There has also been carried out painting of starboard section No10 and it was placed in the dry dock to be assembled.
 
Assembly and welding on unit No70 (crane pillar) have been completed; crane’s supporting surface is being installed.
 
Assembly and welding on port section No10 are in the final stage; soon it will be prepared for canting. For convenience of assembly and welding the section is assembled on the main deck platform.
 
Assembly and welding on port section No 40 (bow), on port and starboard sections No30, on units No50 (aft superstructure) and No90 (navigation room) are in process.
 
In the shipyard dry dock there has been completed welding of intersection joint of port and starboard sections No20 (unit No20).
 
Assembly of pipelines, foundations and equipment is performed during manufacture of the floating crane sections and units.
 
Besides, on the shipyard working area Liebherr crane is being assembled. In particular, lifting gear drive, support platform, landing platforms, cabin, and crane boom have been installed on the rotational crane pillar. Crane assembly and its putting into operation will be conducted under the supervision of Liebher engineers.
