Fabrication.
As of March 26 Romanian shipbuilders completed assembly and welding works on all sections of St.Mykolai floating crane.
They are being painted now.
This week SNC shipyard is going to place all sections of pressure-resistant hull in dry dock.
Painting.
Shipbuilders have cleaned and painted sections: starboard section No30, port section No30, central section No30 and port section No40.
Hull formation in dry dock.
Welding of erection joint between starboard sections No10 and No20 has been completed.
Port section No30, central section No30, starboard section No30 and port section No40 were placed in dry dock. They are being assembled to unit No20 and between each other.
On the shipyard working area there is being performed assembly of unit No90 (navigation house) with units No60 and No80 (superstructure).
Mast was installed on a navigation house top.

We would remind you that on December 6 with participation of NIBULON’s General Director Oleksiy Vadaturskyy and SNC President George Bosinceanu there was held a solemn ceremony of keel-laying of the vessel.
St.Mykolai floating crane is intended for loading/unloading operations in grab mode with lifting capacity of up to 45 tons and in hook mode – up to 60 tons on inland waterways, in the Azov Sea and in the Black Sea costal area of up to 20 miles the whole year round.
Technical characteristics ensure to carry out loading/unloading operations with wave height of up to 1.5m and wind velocity – up to 20m/s.
Its mains dimensions: length overall – 52.3 m; breadth – 22 m; draught (lightship) – 2 m; displacement (at 2 m draught) – about 2000 tons; speed – not less than 4 knots. The floating crane lifting capacity: in grab mode (boom reach – 32 m) – 45 tons, in hook mode (boom reach – 26 m) – 60 tons.
