Specialists of Mykolayiv shipbuilding yard “Okean” continue the implementation of the investment project of “NIBULON” in terms of the construction of own towing fleet. We want to remind you that on the 31st of May, 2011 the first of six tugs of POSS-115 project,“NIBULON-1” was launched at Mykolayiv shipbuilding yard “Okean”. The construction of a series of these vessels was started on the 30th of June 2010. Main power is taken on the main distributing switchboard of “NIBULON-1” tug – hence the vessel prepares for docking trial. At the same time metal cutting and hull formation of the next vessels are being continued in the shops of the yard, the second and third tugs of the series are in dry dock, where works on saturation and equipment installation are being continued. Currently the status of the construction is the following. Оrder № 184: hull works are almost completed; texas is planished, it is prepared for installation of doors and portholes, machine space is prepared for installation of hull systems and basic machine loading. Order № 185: texas is joint to the hull, the vessel is ready for hull systems installation. Order № 186 : formation of hull is continued, units № 20, 30, 40 are joint, unit № 10 is inverted; texas is aggregated.
