Summarizing Harvesting Campaign

For a yield of 2014 there have been harvested 2.6 thousand ha of winter barley, 22.8 thousand ha of winter wheat and 1.7 thousand ha of winter rapeseed (total – 27.1 thousand ha). For comparison: in 2013 the total area of harvesting of early grain crops comprised 30.5 thousand ha.
This year the company has obtained the gross yield practically at the level of the previous year in spite of the fact that the area of cultivated land decreased by 3.4 thousand ha.
Every year our employees improve their work, optimize all expenses and perform manufacturing operations as quickly as possible, thus, giving positive results. A part of areas of early grain crops was inferior to late grain crops sown (sunflower, corn, soybean). Such a diversification made it possible to achieve last year’s successful figure by early grain crops. Upon harvesting of late grain crops in 2014 season, the gross yield of the given crop group is expected to be increased. High level of the company’s development and its constant progress demonstrate the improvement of production technologies and the increase in the employees’ agrarian culture.
Good yield gives us grounds to predict higher gross yield of grain and oil crops this year as compared with the previous one.
For comparison, last year areas under corn comprised 18.5 thousand tons; this year they comprise 22.2 thousand tons. In 2013 there were sown 11.9 thousand ha and 5.1 thousand ha of sunflower and soybean respectively, and in 2014 there were sown 13.9 and 4.7 thousand ha.
Thus, according to the harvesting campaign of early grain crops, NIBULON’s branches have demonstrated high results. Harvesting started on June 11. Early harvesting was caused by earlier ripening of crops.
Summarizing harvesting campaign of early grain crops, it may be noted that the gross yield of winter wheat has comprised 96 thousand tons in 2014 which is at the level of the last year’s index. The average crop capacity comprised more than 42 dt/ha. “Vradiyivs’ka” (48 dt/ha) and “Pryseymivs’ka” (49.6 dtha) branches managed to achieve maximum results. The highest gross yield is demonstrated by “Chygyryn” branch – 10,600 tons of wheat.
The record crop capacity has been achieved in winter rapeseed harvesting in the current season. The average crop capacity by the company comprised 34 dt/ha, and the highest result was received at “Mriya” branch – 40.4 dt/ha. The total gross yield of rapeseed by the company has comprised about 6,000 tons this year.
This year winter barley yield has been harvested on the area of 2,547 ha. The average crop capacity of winter barley comprises 38.9 dt/ha having exceeded the last year’s result by almost 5 dt/ha. It should be noted the policy of successive reduction of winter barley sowing in the crop rotation structure. It is connected with more efficient cultivation of wheat (as food crop) and corn (as fodder one). These crops are staked on in the coming years.
53 units of harvesting machinery participated in the harvesting campaign, including Massey Ferguson, Case, John Deere combines. In order to transport a yield, 50 units of NIBULON’s own cargo fleet of MAN, DAF, SCANIA brand were involved in.
At present production branches of the company are carrying out preparatory works for autumn cycle of field works. In particular, NIBULON’s branches have been supplied with mineral fertilizers, elite seed, and qualitative seed protectants. In autumn NIBULON’s agrarians plan to harvest a high yield of corn, sunflower and soybean.
We would remind you that according to 2013 harvesting campaign, the branches ensured a record gross yield of corn (almost 148 thousand tons) at the highest in the history crop capacity of 80.1 dt/ha. Besides, last season production branches of the company ensured a record crop capacity of sunflower – 24.8 dt/ha.
Implementation of innovative strategy and reasonable preparation for harvesting campaign give an opportunity to expect the level of gross yield and crop capacity of late grain crops that will exceed the last year’s record figure!
