“Every day we keep a finger on the pulse and provide with the most accurate information as to the total grain balance: how much grain is stored at NIBULON’s elevators, how much grain should be sold and purchased, analytical data, last years’ statistics, etc.”, tells Iryna Lozovska, a head of the accounting and reporting department of NIBULON. “Due to the figures and analytics provided by us, efficient managerial decisions are made at the company”.
As a head of the department that is engaged in accounting of agricultural products, Iryna Lozovska started to implement changes and increase the efficiency of performance of tasks set before the company. According to her initiative and with the participation of the application software department there was developed and implemented the total consolidated program on grain accounting that includes NIBULON’s branches all over Ukraine, “At present the program’s advantages are quite obvious, namely assistance to many NIBULON’s specialists whose work is connected with harvesting, purchase, preservation, transportation and export of grain. Together we improve it. Besides, in order to assist other NIBULON’s branches, our department developed guidance materials, manuals to keep storage document circulation. The main thing is daily advanced training of the employees: the legislative base study, following law changes as to grain accounting, discussion of problem issues”.
Iryna Lozovska mentions that her employees must check and execute qualitative and quantitative grain accounting every day, “The activity connected with fast analytics cannot be postponed, as it will be very difficult to renew the right information”.
“The tasks performed by our company are increased daily: the number of elevators and grain amount are increased”, tells Nataliya Dotsenko, an economist of the department. “Our department has a lot of work to do, including analytical one. We must use our own experience, attentiveness and pedantry as much as possible checking a lot of numbers annually. Attentiveness and sociability must come first”.
Mariya Ponura, a specialist with unique experience, has celebrated the 20th anniversary of her work experience at NIBULON this year, “When I came to NIBULON, the company started its activities in an office located in Faleyevska street where there worked 12-13 persons. Everybody knew each other and made a common cause. Then there were few departments, the company started its way, the specialists were universal in making different tasks set before the company at that time. When I had business trips within Ukraine communicating with the company’s potential partners, firstly, I had to tell much about our plans. Today only the company’s name means a guarantee of success for our partners. Everybody knows, respects and appreciates our NIBULON!”
According to Mariya Ponura, the secret of NIBULON’s success consists in the team’s belief in the manager, “Then, 20 years ago we believed in the ideas of Oleksiy Vadaturskyy and in our common future. And today all our forecasts not only came true, but also exceeded all expectations. For example, 20 years ago nobody knew that NIBULON would build its own elevators, fleet at its own shipyard, export agricultural commodities via its own port, implementing the leading technologies of agricultural commodity growth and other things”.
“When 17 years ago I came to work for NIBULON, I felt a progressive spirit of this company”, recollects Tamara Kushnir. “This job differed from those jobs existed in Ukraine at that time. During labour hours we were overloaded with work that was very interesting and time ran quickly. We all worked for a common result”.
Tamara Kushnir advises specialists who get a job at NIBULON to be sociable, “If employees work only for their self-interest, are not imbued with NIBULON’s fate, they will never achieve success. It is always necessary to think what else you can do for the company, to improve professionally, as, unfortunately, knowledge provided by the educational institutions is not enough for practical work. Those people who want to work and make something important in their lives will achieve success at NIBULON”.
