The construction of grain elevators is one of the key aspects of “NIBULON’s” investment project. Since the start in 2009, four elevator complexes and two transshipment terminals in Poltava region, one elevator complex in Kyiv and one more in Zhytomyr regions, one transshipment terminal in Cherkasy and another one in Zaporizhzhya regions – at the Dnipro River, as well as the transshipment terminal in Mykolayiv region – at the Southern Bug River has been put into operation within the framework of the investment project.
The current year will be a year of new achievements: the company will build a number of grain elevators and transshipment terminals in Kyiv, Kherson, Vinnytsya and Mykolayiv regions. It will allow the company to increase its own elevator capacities to 2 million tons of simultaneous storage! The company also plans to build enterprises abroad.
February 17th, 2012 was a symbolic day for “NIBULON” as it marked a new stage of the investment project implementation on construction of elevators. On this day, in the company’s central office (Mykolayiv) there was signed a contract for the purchase of new dryers produced by «Mathews Company» (the USA) with its further installation in new enterprises. The contract was signed by the Director of engineering and support services Joseph Shulfer on the part of American partners and the General Director of “NIBULON” Oleksiy Vadaturskyy.
The technical specifics of the contract’s subject is the following. Currently, the dryers of «Mathews Company» – «MC 3180» are used at most elevators of “NIBULON”. They consist of 5 modules-blocks, their passport capacity is 77 tons /hour, while reducing moisture from 19% to 15% (wheat), at the ambient temperature of 10 degrees Celsius and relative humidity of 50%. As the technical specifications of the equipment capacity factor 0.85 are specified, thus available capacity at the output (defined by research measurement of “NIBULON’s” professionals) is 65 tons/hour. Still with modernization of production at the new elevators, these indices will be too low, taking into consideration that capacity of dryers is very important at the moment of mass acceptance of new grain crop.
Thus, “NIBULON’s” experts have made perfect technical analysis of dryers «MC 3180» and concluded that they have large production potential and are able to provide actual capacity of 75 tons/hour (15% more than current rates) – by bringing the number of modules in the dryer to 6. American partners discussed technical proposal and fully agreed with it.
The specialists of “NIBULON” also offered options of technical re-equipment of the basic model with bringing its technical productiveness even up to 100 tons/hour and more that caused intense interest and attention from the American counterparts.
Thus, new modernized (six-sectioned) dryers «MC 3180» (with a capacity of about 75 tons / hour) that will be manufactured for “NIBULON”, will become the first of its kind not only in Ukraine, but for producer, «Mathews Company», as well. Therefore, Ukrainian company becomes an engine of scientific and technological development of the American company.
On May 1st, 2012 the first batch of upgraded dryers (4 machines) will arrive in Ukraine and will be transported to Kyiv (Pereyaslav-Khmel’nyts’kyy town) and Kherson (Kozats’ke village) regions for mounting at the transshipment terminals of “NIBULON” that will be constructed at that time.

During the conversation that preceded the signing of contracts, Joseph Shulfer got acquainted with the progress of the investment project implementation.
