During almost three years of its work, agricultural commodity producers of Voznesensk, Domanivka, Pervomaisk, Yelanets, Novyi Buh, Arbuzynka, Bratske and Veselynove districts (Mykolaiv region), as well as farmers of Vilshanka, Dobrovelychkivka, Novoukrainka, Kompaniivka, Bobrynets districts (Kirovohrad region), etc. have experienced advantages of its operation. The automated terminal provides a wide range of services (purchase, storage, processing (drying and cleaning) of grain and oilseeds), as well as quickly and competently conducts laboratory analyses. In addition, according to the experts, a new logistics system and modern technologies of grain storage at “Voznesens’ka” branch give Ukrainian farmers the opportunity to receive millions of additional profits that they can send to pay wages and purchase fuels and lubricants, new equipment. When cooperating with NIBULON, local agrarians receive more attractive prices for agricultural products spending less money for transportation.
“Voznesens’ka” branch, one of NIBULON’s youngest branches, has been maintaining leadership in the purchase of agricultural products among NIBULON’s other transshipment terminals (without taking into account the company’s sea transshipment terminal in Mykolaiv) for a long time. The facility usually receives high-quality products, namely corn, wheat of II-III classes and barley grown both by NIBULON’s branches and farmers.
At the same time with the receipt of agricultural products, the transshipment terminal continuously loads grain on water transport. “Voznesens’ka” branch has loaded about 600 non-self-propelled vessels during the period of its operation. Dredging operations, another stage of which was completed on April 4, 2018, enabled the company to load non-self-propelled B2000 project vessels that were designed for operation on the Southern Buh River to their full load, thereby shortening the number of cargo trips and transportation costs. This, in turn, allows the company’s tugs and non-self-propelled vessels to perform other cargo trips. In April 2018, NIBULON’s shipping company transported the first million tons of cargoes along the Southern Buh River. To date, NIBULON has transported more than 1.6 million tons of cargoes along the main waterway of Mykolaiv region from its branches in Voznesensk and Nova Odesa to its sea transshipment terminal in Mykolaiv, thereby having removed about 67,000 trucks from the country’s roads.
The branch not only is engaged in production activity but also participates in the development of the local infrastructure.
