The Head of Mykolayiv Regional Administration Mykola Kruglov inspected a new transshipment terminal of “NIBULON” in Nova Odesa town

On the 11th of April 2011,the head of Mykolayiv Regional Administration Mykola Kruglov had a working trip to Nova Odesa town, where he got acquainted with completion progress of the construction of the transshipment terminal of “NIBULON” along the Southern Bug river and met with management of the companies that took part in the construction of the facility. The General Director of “NIBULON” Oleksiy Vadaturskyy was showing the head of Mykolayiv Regional Administration round during the trip. “Export potential of Ukraine without logistics system is almost impossible, – said the head of Mykolayiv Regional Administration Mykola Kruglov during his trip to “Novoodes’ka” terminal. – Today private business in Ukraine started to deal with logistics component and it is very important. This is because today the future and development of Ukraine depend on the agricultural sector. This will be a completely different base for our export potential, which will improve other sectors of Ukrainian economy – foreign exchange reserves of the state, the problem of employment solution, other farm economy, the possibility of solving of social issues, roads, housing, etc.” By the way, grain croppage, despite the adverse weather conditions, compiles about 300 thousand tons in “NIBULON”, with 80% of I and II class grain, and the rest is of the third class. The head of Regional Administration Mykola Kruglov on behalf of Mykolayiv Administration and citizens of Mykolayiv and region expressed gratitude to “NIBULON” for the help in bread price stabilization: “We do have the lowest price of bread in Ukraine. Today we get the flour from the Agrarian Fund at a cost of UAH 2570-2590 per ton. We are able to buy thousand tons of grain at the price of UAH 1350 per ton from “NIBULON” nearly every month, while the real price in the market is of UAH 2200-2300 per ton. On this basis we form grinding millblend, which enables us to support bread price”. The General Director of “NIBULON” Oleksiy Vadaturskyy thanked for their initiative and support to the head of Mykolayiv Regional State Administration Mykola Kruglov, regional and district councils, and all construction companies that were involved at the facility in Nova Odesa town: “Last year we provided 1550 builders with work only in Mykolayiv region. Mykolayiv builders who worked with us in 2010-2011, received UAH 186 million of payment for the construction and installation works. Mykolayiv shipbuilding yard “Okean” has received UAH 350 million for the implementation of our investment program on the construction of non-self-propelled and self-propelled vessels since March 2009. Thus our company’s role in the economy of Mykolayiv region is quite significant. This is exncluding other tax payments to budgets of different levels”. The head of Regional Administration Mykola Kruglov highly appreciated the work of building organizations of Mykolayiv region and supported the investment program of “NIBULON” on the improvement of the logistics component of the grain market of Mykolayiv region. The head of Regional Administration Mykola Kruglov gave thorough answers to questions of the representatives of construction organizations. Today, builders of Mykolayiv region are concerned about the situation that “NIBULON” postponed the investment program implementation on the construction of new terminals in Mykolayiv region in Shostakove village and Voznesens’k town along the Southern Bug River, despite the fact that all the equipment for these facilities has been already delivered by foreign companies. Managers of construction companies have expressed their concern about this situation and their teams, who are left without work at the same time. These companies have no idea how to provide these builders with work. These construction companies asked the head of Mykolayiv Regional State Administration Mykola Kruglov to assist in stabilizing the situation in order to let “NIBULON” continue implementing its investment project. Otherwise, the builders will not have work, as a result it will have a negative impact on the image of Mykolayiv region. With a view to the extremely dangerous situation that exists in the scope of activities of construction organizations of Mykolayiv region, representatives of 20 construction organizations of the region in a written request asked Mykola Kruglov to “address to the President of Ukraine, the Prime Minister of Ukraine to give appropriate instructions for resolving the situation associated with restriction of grain export for “NIBULON”. “One of the largest construction investors of the region is forced to roll back the construction plans. Management of the [construction] companies seriously thinks of necessity to build, if the new facilities will not be in demand for grain storage, and they may meet the fate of the destroyed farms in the agrarian sector of Ukraine. In our opinion, such course of events will lead to irreparable consequences that may occur for the construction industry of Mykolayiv region”- it is said in circulation.
