The guests and NIBULON’s Manager Oleksiy Vadaturskyy visited the newly built transshipment terminal in Hola Prystan town which was inaugurated on July 14 with the participation of the Ukrainian officials, representatives of EU diplomatic missions, and foreign suppliers. After that, the delegation was pleased to visit the transshipment terminal for grain and oilseeds shipments in Mykolaiv.
The Australian colleagues evaluated the capacities of NIBULON’s facilities and the most modern equipment both of the transshipment terminals and of the production and technological laboratory; it is equipped (according to the highest world standards) with laboratory and research equipment to determine quality and perform scientific research on grain and products of its processing. The guests were pleasantly surprised at a device manufactured in Australia.
“I would like to note the level of innovation you have started and improved, the way you have arranged your facilities, and contribution you have made to the infrastructure and economy. We are impressed by the very high level of your facility and terminals”, commented on his impressions Graham J Bradley, a chairman of the GrainCorp board and a non-executive director.
NIBULON prepared pleasant traditional gifts for its overseas guests. In particular, Graham J Bradley, who was celebrating his birthday that day, was happy to receive a beautiful vyshyvanka (an embroidered shirt), a rushnyk, and a bulava as presents. Mark L Palmquist, a managing director and a chief executive officer of GrainCorp also received similar set of Ukrainian traditional things.
In turn, the representatives of GrainCorp presented a photo album with spectacular landscapes of Australia to NIBULON’s General Director and invited him to visit Australia.
“I and my colleagues are sincerely grateful for your hospitality. We like everything very much. If we knew how interesting this visit was going to be, we would allot much more time for it. We will remember the day we spent with Hero of Ukraine Oleksiy Vadaturskyy for a long time”, said a chairman of the board of directors of the leading Australian agricultural products exporter.
Saying goodbye, the Australian colleagues promised to visit NIBULON again to familiarize themselves with the NIBULON’s shipbuilding industry which is actively being developed.
