The first tug readiness has already reached almost 28 %, and the tug construction will be completed at the beginning of a new marketing year, on July 01, 2014.
On the shipyard berth, where the hull of the first tug is located, there has been completed assembly of afterbody edge and skeg (constructions to be installed on the sides of the vessel’s bottom); there has been installed the superstructure’s stern section.
The formed hull part has been placed to the next building berth position to mount unit No.50, an afterbody edge. At present it is being prepared for installation; the section No.70, the superstructure’s fore part, is being mounted.
At the same time in the vessel’s spaces (mechanical-fitter area) there has been started installation of electrical-fitter equipment. The shipbuilders have already submitted the first equipped spaces (fuel storage tanks No.5 and 6) for approval on the assembly and piping area.
The first batch of pipes of hull systems (sea water cooling system, ballast system, fire-fighting system, drainage system) has been sent to Zaporizhzhya plant “EUROFORMAT Stalkonstruktsiya” to be chemically purified before installation.
NIBULON-6 readiness comprises almost 13 %.
At present the shipbuilders have finished to assemble sections of the unit No.40 (including decks and sides). The section has been canted and is being prepared for mounting.
There is being continued assembly of the units No.10 and 50, forebody and afterbody edges respectively; deck section and sides of the unit No.30 have been laid; pipes are being manufactured for installation of tanks in the bottom sections of the units No.20-40.
We would remind you that when the construction is completed, the company will start to implement a number of other own shipbuilding orders: a series of river tugs of POSS-120 project, non-self-propelled vessels of NBL-91 project, self-propelled vessels of “Volgo-Don max” class”.
