The round-table meeting with the largest number of foreign lenders participated testifies to NIBULON’s openness and responsibility when cooperating with financial institutions. The company has been organizing such meetings for five consecutive years. This year’s event was attended by about 60 persons from more than 15 financial institutions, such as EBRD, EIB, IFC, FMO, NATIXIS (France), ABN AMRO Bank N.V. (the Netherlands), BCP (Switzerland), BNP Paribas (France), ING Group (the Netherlands), Rabobank International (the Netherlands), ARAB BANK (Switzerland), Amsterdam Trade Bank (the Netherlands), UBS Switzerland AG (Switzerland), BIC-BRED (Suisse) SA (Switzerland), Credit Agricole (France). Most of them are long-standing and reliable partners, and NIBULON has been cooperating with them for many years.
During the meeting, General Director Oleksiy Vadaturskyy, members of the Supervisory Board Claudio Scarrozza, Gilles Mettetal and Philippe Ziegler, Deputy General Director on Trading Volodymyr Slavinskyy and Head of Financial Department Olha Babanina familiarized the representatives of the financial institutions with the main achievements of NIBULON in 2017/18 MY, including the ones in trade, exports, shipbuilding, logistics development, as well as financial highlights and plans in Ukraine. As the representatives of the financial institutions noted, NIBULON is a very responsible partner and provides so much information that there are practically no additional questions.
Answering a question about economic and political conditions for business development in Ukraine, Oleksiy Vadaturskyy frankly said that NIBULON continues constructing its network of state-of-the-art facilities, complete vessels, reconstructing its own shipbuilding yard and creating modern logistics system despite all the difficulties that the company perceives as new challenges.
We believe that our cooperation with the leading financial institutions will become an important stimulus to create new jobs, to develop navigation and shipbuilding, to reduce traffic loads on the roads, and to develop Ukraine’s economy.
