On March 28 Odesa city congratulated the winners of the 6th National Maritime Rating of Ukraine. This year NIBULON has become a laureate in several nominations including “MAN OF THE YEAR IN THE WATER TRANSPORTATION INDUSTRY”, “NEW TERMINAL”, and “ABSOLUTE GROWTH”. Three years running NIBULON becomes the only laureate of the nomination “Golden Berth”. The experts highly appreciated a set of measures to construct a network of elevator complexes, river terminals, and own fleet which are performed by NIBULON headed by Oleksiy Vadaturskyy. The company constructed the following hydraulic structures: – the transshipment terminal of “Pereyaslavs’ka” branch in Chyrs’ke village (Kyiv region) with length of 315 m which consists of cargo berth with length of 105 m and berthing dolphins with length of 210 m, the moorage wall length is 4 m; – the transshipment terminal of “Kozats’ka” branch in Kozats’ke town (Kherson region) with length of 105 m, the moorage wall depth is 3.1 m. Commissioning of the terminals in Kyiv and Kherson regions became symbolic for NIBULON. The powerful agrarian company managed to close a chain of its own transshipment terminals constructed along the Dnipro River and adjacent to the river territories from north to south. Thus, NIBULON confirmed its status of a pioneer in implementing new approaches to Ukraine’s agrarian logistics. In 2012 NIBULON continued to construct tugs of POSS-115 project. Tugs “NIBULON-3” and “NIBULON-4” were launched. Consequently, at present NIBULON’s self-propelled fleet numbers 7 tugs. Its own non-self-propelled fleet consists of 28 non-self-propelled vessels the so called “an elevator on water” with total deadweight of 131.08 thousand tons. In September 2012 on the basis of the purchased shipyard “Lyman” there was established NIBULON’s new subdivision directed to shipbuilding and repair – the shipbuilding and repair yard “NIBULON”. NIBULON is going to reconstruct and modernize the existing facilities that will allow to ensure repair, fleet maintenance, and also construction of vessels with displacement of up to 5 thousand tons. Today the shipyard in Constanta city (Romania) is constructing the floating crane by NIBULON’s order. According to the experts, it will be the most productive crane in Ukraine. According to Andriy Volik, the deputy general director of safety navigation, today NIBULON continues to implement its unique program to revive navigation on the Dnipro and the Southern Bug Rivers as transport waterways of Ukraine constructing transshipment terminals and creating its own cargo fleet. It is pleasant for us to take leadership positions in the marine economic sector which is not peculiar to us at first sight. The victory in the National Maritime Rating testifies recognition of NIBULON’s achievements in the development of Ukraine’s marine economic sector. We gained this victory by ourselves without support from sectoral authorities. At present NIBULON makes everything so that Ukraine become a maritime state and not a country at the seaside. It is pleasant for us to be the first but it is a pity to note that our simple contribution becomes unique achievement against a background of passive participation in the marine economic complex development. A tradition to acknowledge the most outstanding events, companies and persons of the marine sector was initiated by the magazine Ports of Ukraine and by the information-analytical center “BlackSeaTrans”.  In the meantime there were initiated a number of nominations for the best state ports, stevedoring companies including “Golden Ton”, “Golden Container”, “Sea Agent”, “Fleet Renewal”, “Forwarder of the Year”, and others. The winners are chosen according to the rating results based on work indices (transshipment amount, constructed berths, etc.). The winners of the nominations “Achievement of the Year” and ‘Person of the Year in the Water Transportation Industry” were selected by the experts, this year there have been 72 experts from among managers of companies, leading experts of the sector. Totally, during the 6th National Maritime Rating there were acknowledged 66 laureates in 20 nominations.  The National Maritime Rating Results: “MAN OF THE YEAR IN THE WATER TRANSPORTATION INDUSTRY” 1.
