The meeting can be truly called traditional, as active students of the Academy have invited NIBULON’s General Director Oleksiy Vdaturskyy for the third time in 2018. For the first time, Oleksiy Vadaturskyy shared his secrets of success in March 2018. And next month, General Director opened the All-Ukrainian Leadership Forum organized by the Ukrainian Leadership Academy with the assistance of the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
According to the organizers of the meeting, the participants have a unique opportunity to communicate with a real leader and to hear the interesting story of NIBULON’s success, a big company with European approach to the organization of labour and modernization of production in Ukraine.
The youth of the ULA was very impressed with Oleksiy Vadaturskyy’s speech, and almost endless number of questions testifies to this fact. The ULA’s students asked for more stories, more life examples, because this is important and valuable to them. All those present during the speech of General Director Oleksiy Vadaturskyy were writing down important and necessary information that cannot be found in any textbook; they were adopting valuable advice, the effectiveness of which is proved by life itself – with its obstacles and difficulties, ups and joys. Below there are some of them.
The basis of all achievements in life is hard work. If you cultivate your abilities, you will surely succeed. And if you think that solid knowledge and skills is enough in order to be successful in neurosurgery, cosmonautics or in the development of your own business, you are mistaken. To achieve success in any field, it is important to work hard, perhaps to do monotonous work, every day from morning to night. And do not be afraid of any work, even menial work. Success is for those who can do everything, who have passed everything, who are not afraid of challenges. So, you have to work, and work a lot.
Never stop at what has been achieved. Our company values young and talented people. The average age of the company’s employees is 33-34 years. I try to communicate more with young people, listen to you. When you make way for young people and surround yourself with young people, then it is interesting to live and work. Then you are in a good shape. And self-development is the basis of success.
To do what you love is to be successful. You are young and talented people. You have everything ahead. But your future depends on the path you choose now. Therefore, at this stage of life, it is important to try your hand at different spheres, if possible, in order to find your own path.  You should love the work you do because only then you put your heart into you job, only then you get pleasure. If you succeed in this, then you are on the right track!
Be able to find positive things in everything and turn it into success. You also need to be able to see positive things and rejoice in them. When I was just starting to take the first steps in business, I had nothing but my own knowledge and 6 like-minded people. And we have managed to build a company. I have had a lot of difficulties in my life; there have been troubles one after another, but I understood that no matter how difficult it was for me and for the whole team, it is important to be able to find a positive moment and make this little pleasure more important than a failure.
A new challenge is a new chance. You have to be prepared for the constant challenges in your life. And you should take it as a chance that is given to you in order to make a choice, to win, to achieve something. When there are challenges, then you will have a character, confidence and success. So do not be afraid of challenges. It is very important to everyone who wants to achieve something in this life.
I had such a challenge. Life in a village required hard work. And even then, in my childhood, I knew for sure that I would study hard, work hard and do everything in order to change the situation and help my parents. In the last two years of studying at school, I worked in parallel in order to graduate the school not only with knowledge but also with work experience. And this helped me, the only graduate, to enter a higher educational institution. I set myself a goal – to succeed at any cost to support my parents. And I did it.
A successful manager is an excellent organizer. It is very good that you already have an opportunity to study and develop yourself, changing your social environment. Recently, you have been pupils. Today you are ULA’s students where you can try your hand at being managers, organizers. You can really get important experience in efficient organization of team. The responsibilities of a local manager will help you develop important leadership skills. You have to collect such experience in order to be a real leader in the future.  Remember, if someone noticed you and chose you – go ahead. Lead, show strength, organization ability in order to be respected by others.  When you learn how to organize your work and organize others, you will be able to achieve significant successes in your life.
Honesty is the key to success. From my own experience, I can say that for the leader, perhaps, the most important thing is when people trust you. And the manager should be able to choose people to form a harmonious team. Believe me, it is very difficult, because people are different, they have different experience, different plans. Somebody comes to work, and somebody comes to learn. The manager should appreciate those people who have decided to share the labour of love. And you should always be honest with people, with your team. Communication should be transparent. Just being honest, you can build something really big and grand. This is my position. That is how I live my life and develop my philosophy of deeds.
The ULA’s students were very impressed with a film about NIBULON, which was presented to all its participants at the end of the meeting. The students and academy managers burst into wild applause after watching it. It is very nice that we have managed to impress the youth, which means that NIBULON is on the right track.
The students were also interested in Oleksiy Vadaturskuu’s position regarding the recently introduced martial law. The General Director replied that in such difficult time for the country, all Ukrainians had to unite, to understand the necessity of inspections on the roads and in the cities, and to contribute to the independence of Ukraine.
At the end, NIBULON’s General Director said,
“You ask me if I could think about my future achievements in the 9th-10th grade. No, I couldn’t. It is hard work, a lot of challenges that dictate you what to do, a series of difficult decisions, the work of the entire team. And we still have a lot ahead”.
We hope that the meeting will be a powerful motivator for young and talented students from all over Ukraine and a source of inspiration for future achievements. We know that there are conscious young people in the room who will act responsibly when choosing a profession, who will love their business, who will strive for constant development and will never stop at what has been achieved. We believe that each of you will have his/her own story of success. Thus, progress and economic development of our country depend on you.
