The EBRD and NIBULON are long-standing and reliable partners. This partnership started in 2010, when a Ukrainian company received a loan. During this time, our company has repaid the loans allocated by the EBRD in the amount of USD 450 million. Under financial support of the EBRD, for the first time in the history of our country NIBULON has taken on its own to revive inland waterways transportation and shipbuilding – industries that were considered to be lost forever.  By joint efforts and as effectively as possible, we have implemented a series of investment projects aimed at developing Ukraine’s infrastructure, in particular river logistics and shipbuilding revival.
Today, NIBULON is proud to inform the public that it has constructed a network of grain warehouses and transshipment terminals across the country under the financial support of the EBRD: “Skorokhodivs’ka” branch, “Gradyz’k” branch, “Kremenchuts’ka” branch, “Marianivs’ka” branch in Poltava region, “Voznesens’ka” branch and “Novoodes’ka” branch in Mykolaiv region, “Teteriv” branch in Zhytomyr region, “Denykhivs’ka” branch and “Pereiaslavs’ka” branch in Kyiv region, “Svativs’ka” branch in Luhansk region, “Kozats’ka” branch and “Holoprystans’ka” branch in Kherson region, “Kamianka-Dniprovs’ka” branch and “Khortytsia” branch in Zaporizhzhia region. 
Due to cooperation with the EBRD, we built a modern fleet, namely 22 non-self-propelled vessels, 13 tugs, a high-capacity SDS-15 dredger, St. Mykolai self-propelled floating crane, Nibulonivets and Nibulonivets-2 non-self-propelled floating cranes. This is a hundred percent Ukrainian fleet constructed of Ukrainian steel at Ukrainian NIBULON shipbuilding and repair yard in Mykolaiv under strict supervision of the Shipping Register of Ukraine, and it flies the Ukrainian flag.
The partnership with the EBRD allowed us to change the logistics map of Ukraine. Our company practically from “zero” in just a few years brought the volume of river transportation up to 2.5 million tons per year. In the nearest years, the company plans to increase this figure up to 4 million tons per year.
In total, during the years of NIBULON’s activities, including cooperation with the EBRD, we have invested almost USD 2 billion in Ukraine’s economy.
We inform you that today NIBULON continues the successful implementation of these grand investment projects. Our cooperation with the EBRD is not over. We have big joint plans for the future. For example, in February 2018, the EBRD and NIBULON signed a USD 50 million loan agreement to implement the project on river transportation revival. To date, these funds have not yet been used. They will be used in order to construct three new river transshipment terminals. Two of them will be constructed in Ternivka village (Zaporizhzhia region) and Marianske village (Dnipropetrovsk region). We have also plans to construct the third river terminal, and the issue of its location is being solved. The company will start to construct its new facilities this August or September.  Some delay in the start of construction work was due to the inconsistency of legislative acts and the implementation of the Law of Ukraine “On Environmental Impact Assessment” dated 23.05.2017. Wait for positive news about our company in the near future.
