Recently, NIBULON’s representatives visited Uman National University of Horticulture to donate the Infratec 1241 (FOSS) grain analyzer to the students.
Infratec 1241 is a whole grain analyzer to test moisture, protein, oil, starch, etc. The device includes a test weight module to determine the volume weight of a sample.
This is a new generation analyzer developed together with the grain industry representatives to meet the requirements of automated measurement of chemical grain content. It is calibrated for various types of grain crops (wheat, barley, corn, soybean, and others). The eco-friendly analyzer is dustproof and waterproof.
NIBULON gave the device to the department of grain storage and grain processing technology laboratory (the engineering and technological faculty). NIBULON’s service engineer from the department of metrology and automated weight measurement systems, Andriy Bulkin, installed and tested the analyzer. Olena Shevchuk, a head from the quality assurance and quality control department at the product quality and product storage assurance service at NIBULON, explained to the students how to use the analyzer.
Before NIBULON gave this analyzer to the university, the company used it for qualitative analyses of grain crops at the Reshetylivska branch production and technological laboratory (Poltava region). Now Infratec 1241 enables the students from Uman National University of Horticulture to obtain practical skills in running modern laboratory equipment at the university. Thus, they stand out from other graduates with the same specializations of other Ukrainian higher educational institutions.
The students also met with Iryna Savenko, deputy head of the personnel department. She told the youth about NIBULON’s structure and principles of operation; she invited them to work for the company and explained how to undergo practical training.
At the end of the meeting, the rector of Uman National University of Horticulture Olena Nepochatenko sincerely thanked NIBULON for presenting the equipment and improving the material and technical facilities at the educational institution. She presented NIBULON’s representatives with a special edition of the book on the occasion of the University’s 175th anniversary.
