Logistic component is considered to be one of the key aspects and factors of successful business nowadays. What improvements in the traffic sector are implemented by NIBULON and who is responsible for maintenance of NIBULON’s truck fleet?
The truck drives by steppes of Kherson region and fields of Lugansk region, banks of the Dnipro River and green forests of Kyiv region, Ukrainian cities and villages. “My work trip can last for 2-3 weeks; I can drive through 3-4 regions per day. It goes without saying that a long-distance truck driver job has something special. You must be ready physically and physiologically to face any obstacles that can happen during trip”, tells Mykola Fedorenko, a driver of the trucking department.
The reasons for his coming to NIBULON are search for stability, deserved wage and working conditions.
“Here, in NIBULON, we have comfort conditions like drivers of the European carriers”, says Viktor Samarskyy, a driver with a 22-year experience, “Advantages of modern truck fleet feel each driver: a large cab, an air conditioner, a refrigerator. In summer it is very comfortable and cool to drive. It is a pity to observe those drivers who operate MAZ and KAMAZ.
Viktor Klesov, deputy head of the trucking department thinks that a good driver must be experienced, disciplined, honest, and responsible, “Having such qualities, a person will always have an opportunity to work for our company. We guarantee stability for each driver”.
“A truck driver is a profession characterized by physical and physiological load. Our task is to ensure the best conditions for each driver”, mentions Andriy Bronnikov, a head of the department, who has been working for more than 5 years at NIBULON. He started his work in the environmental protection department, and then he headed the department of fuels and lubricants. Such an experience gives Andriy the opportunity to see NIBULON’s activities fully without forgetting any components. His department is responsible for a number of key issues connected with logistics, accounting of agricultural commodities, control over expenses of fuels and lubricants, environmental preservation, timely delivery of cargoes and agricultural machinery.
“To transport agricultural commodities, the company has purchased MAN trucks made in Germany and DAF trucks produced by the Netherlands which engines comply with the European standards “Euro-3” and consume by 15-20% less fuel in comparison with MAZ and KAMAZ trucks.
In order to reduce the impact of traffic flows on the environment, grain carries follow the routes coordinated with relevant local authorities”, tells Andriy.
Today heavy tonnage truck fleet of NIBULON consists of 73 modern trucks. Truck fleet is capable of transporting almost 2000 tons of grain from different parts of Ukraine. Trucks and trailers, besides grain product transportation, are used for transportation of agricultural machinery in different regions of Ukraine. Truck maintenance is performed by authorized service shops (MAN, DAF, SCANIA) or certified service stations.
“We are proud of our team, together we make very important work uniting all units of the company’, adds Andriy Bronnikov.
