On July 08, 2014, NIBULON’s main grain terminal was visited by students of the management department.
According to Lyudmyla Proganyuk, a senior lecturer of the business management and law department, a visit to NIBULON was planned within educational training where students became familiar with the best companies of the region and principles of their operation, organization of production processes and labour conditions. She noted that an introductory excursion aims at more important task – the youth familiarity with possible employers. As the students’ sacred dream is to get a job at the leading company, and to obtain prospective workplace.
The transshipment terminal, according to Pavlo Zamesov, a student, is a unique facility. In terms of management, it is a facility that ensures agricultural commodity supply to tens of countries worldwide; in terms of international law, it is an area where customs clearance and foreign economic contract execution are carried out daily; in terms of logistics, it is a facility that combines an elevator to store products, a loading/unloading system for these products and a powerful laboratory to analyze products. Consequently, familiarization with such a unique complex has become an interesting and developing event for the students.
While getting to know the principles of the terminal’s operation, the youth paid particular attention to NIBULON’s export activity and geography. Analyzing the successfulness of NIBULON’s export, the students noted that the very terminal, constructed according to up-to-date technologies and modern operation principle, managed to bring export operations efficiency to the level being unattainable for many NIBULON’s competitors.
Holding their breath, the youth observed the terminal’s pride – two huge domes for grain storage ensuring the highest quality level of product storage.
According to the students, they gained valuable experience having familiarized with the high-tech facility which analogues they have never seen before.
