In 1991 Oleksiy Vadaturskyy established NIBULON agricultural company. He is NIBULON’s General Director since it was founded. 
The process of formation of Ukraine as an independent state annually had been adding unexpected events for us: currency change, hyperinflation, political and economic crisis, Russian military aggression. All these processes haven’t influenced positively, but we have never given up and haven’t stopped because of obstacles. We believed and were convinced that we can do everything due to our work. We have achieved a lot during this period.
The company which numbered 7 employees turned to a powerful company with the  worldwide reputation which employs more than 5 000 employees 
In 1996 NIBULON established the first production branches in Mykolaiv and Luhansk regions. At present, there are 50 of them. 25 thousand Ukrainians entrusted us with the main wealth – more than 80 thousand ha of land which is being cultivated by our grain growers with the help of the latest agricultural machinery.
In 1998 our company became the first Ukrainian agricultural producer which received a loan under the support of the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD).
In 2002 we started construction of the main transshipment terminal in Mykolaiv, which was named the best industrial enterprise of Ukraine in 2004. In 2008, the development team headed by NIBULON’s General Director Oleksiy Vadaturskyy was awarded the State Award for its architecture. The use of advanced technologies and modern equipment of leading world manufacturers makes it possible to be one of the leading companies in Europe and in the world even today.
This facility marked the beginning of the company’s history to develop modern logistics system. In 2006 we built the first elevator complex in Poltava region, in 2009 we built the first transshipment terminal along the Dnipro River, in 2011 we built the first transshipment terminal along the Southern Buh River. During this period of time, the grain storage capacity reached 1.8 million tons. 
NIBULON is a leader among Ukrainian grain and oilseeds exporters since 2004. The company’s geographic reach numbers 60 countries.
NIBULON is one of the few Ukrainian companies which has shipped 1 million tons of agricultural commodities to the countries, where hunger dominates, as part of the UN “World Food Programme”.
In 2009 we started an ambitious investment program to revive the Dnipro River and the Southern Buh River as the main transport arteries of Ukraine.
A perfect credit history, years of experience and professionalism of our team made it possible to engage leading financial institutions, such as the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, European Investment Bank, the International Finance Corporation and other well-known banking institutions, in order to implement this project. 
Implementing this project, NIBULON’s team worked like a Swiss clock, having setting records one by one. Thus, construction of the transshipment terminal in Voznesensk district (Mykolaiv region) lasted only 100 days. 
Each company’s facility provided not only workplaces, decent wage, additional revenues to local budgets, new computer classrooms, lighting but also faith that Ukraine will overcome a crisis and become a successful state.
In 2012 there was started the countdown of modern history of shipbuilding. We became the first Ukrainian agricultural company which is engaged in shipbuilding at own shipbuilding and repair yard in Mykolaiv. It employed 600 shipbuilders, 9 000 employees are next in turn to get a job. Completing the first order, NIBULON’s shipbuilders set the first record, having built a self-propelled vessel only in 35 weeks, while a similar order at the shipyard with a long history was completed in more than 70 weeks.
At present our river fleet numbers 54 units of modern self-propelled and non-self-propelled vessels and the annual volumes of cargo transportation by rivers comprise almost 2 million tons. 
The jubilee 2016 was marked by several important events not only for the company but also for the entire Ukraine. Due to a number of activities: construction of the transshipment terminal and a series of non-self-propelled vessels designed for operation on the Southern Buh River and dredging performed (at its own expense and without the state support), we revived cargo transportation along this river for the first time  in a quarter century.
In August 2016, on the occasion of the Independence Day of Ukraine, the first cargo trip by the route Mykolaiv – Voznesensk (Mykolaiv region) was performed. During the first year of operation on the Southern Buh River we managed to break the records of the Soviet period by almost six times, having transported almost 300 thousand tons of grain. Due to this fact, more than 11 thousand trucks had no need to travel to Mykolaiv.
This autumn residents of Ukraine received good news. Passenger vessels were added to NIBULON’s fleet, and the company plans to revive passenger transportation by rivers. 
In addition to production objectives, we have never forgotten about our employees, their families, ordinary Ukrainians. We have equipped schools of towns and villages, where the company operates, with the best computers, training and sports equipment; medical institutions have received the  medical equipment; kindergartens have received warm and comfortable premises and new furniture; houses of culture have received  music and acoustic equipment; village roads – new lighting and road pavement. 
Having invested more than USD 1.65 billion, we are not going to stop at what has been accomplished. We have been discovering the world and presenting Ukraine to the world. We have a lot of ambitious projects which we are going to implement, as we believe in our strength, professionalism, we believe in NIBULON, we believe in Ukraine.
