Right now we are all living in conditions that none of us chose. The war toughens our character, teaches us to live here and now, supporting and motivating each other.
On April 24, at the FORBES conference “Superhumans 2024,” discussions revolved around how this support is cultivated in various companies, particularly focusing on how to maintain engagement and motivate teams without slowing down in extremely difficult conditions. Yana Romanenko, HR Director of NIBULON, shared insights into how it happens in our company.
Here are the three motivating factors she emphasized in her speech:
Challenges and the opportunity to do something our children will be proud of. NIBULON is going through an existential crisis. To survive, the company needs to change. Sometimes, this means doing things that no one has done before. The opportunity to overcome circumstances and achieve results is a powerful motivator for our team, which we support with a new motivation system tied to financial goals.
Patriotism. We are fighting for the future of NIBULON and our nation simultaneously. The company’s contribution to economic stability is so significant that for many, helping NIBULON is equal to helping Ukraine. Transparency in operation, compliance with legislation, tax payments, and social initiatives represent the company’s conscious civic position.
The overarching goal. For 32 years, NIBULON has been helping Ukraine feed the world. We understand that global food security depends on whether NIBULON can deliver Ukrainian products to world markets. This awareness drives team responsibility and results.
“When strength ends, character begins.” And the character of NIBULON was tempered by its founder Oleksiy Vadaturskyy. It is based on the principle of #don’t give up.
And we are moving forward because we have no right to give up!
